These were kettle-dyed a base of bright yellow-green then washed with chestnut, brown and black for a slightly mottled, tonal effect. There is a definite caramel/gold/green undertone, they are a dark bronze colour. Different bases are pictured to show variations.
This is a lovely, sturdy base which would be excellent for just about any knit or crocheted item and is next-to-skin soft. I envision it as a cozy hat or scrunchy cowl, baby sweater or big cardigan - you?
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture and maximum gorgeousness.
