MERINOH! SINGLES: Approximately 115g/465yards superwash Merino wool. This is a single-ply light fingering weight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed a mottled tonal brown and speckled with turquoise, rust, caramel brown, gold, copper and violet. They were not twisted prior to speckling so are highly variegated and should be alternated if more than one is used.
Simple and pretty - this is a lovely singles yarn which will develop a slight halo but hold nice stitch definition and drape. While it is not the absolute softest singles base I have tried (though it’s still plenty soft!), I like that it’s slightly denser with a tighter twist than some, and I find it knits into a very pleasing fabric.
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
