MERINOH! 4-Ply: Approximately 100g/438 yards superwash merino wool. This is fingering/sock weight yarn; a fine, soft four-ply base.
These were kettle-dyed an orange-tinged tan colour using twist-resists, re-twisted and overdyed with grey and finally, speckled with medium brown, grey and cobalt blue. This is a highly variegated colourway and each hank is different though they all share the same colours.
This is a lovely, soft, sturdy, tightly twisted yarn, slightly shiny and with good stitch definition. If you like the Merylon 75/25 fingering but want a pure Merino option, this is the one. While this is superwash,
I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
