TUFFLON SOCK: Approximately 100g/465yds 75/25 superwash wool/nylon.
These were dyed 1/2 deep aubergine purple with a bit of brown, pink and yellow speckling and 1/2 pale mossy/khaki green with a little yellow, brown and fuchsia speckling. These will stripe, pool or flash depending on the garment being knit. Socks will likely micro-stripe. This is a variegated colourway and each hank is unique. Kenspeckles are usually OOAK batches.
This is a tough European-style 4-ply yarn for socks and heavy-wear garments that can stand up to just about anything. This isn't Merino wool so it's not as smooshy-soft as Merylon, but it can take a licking.
While this yarn is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
