PACABEL: Approximately 100g/438yds 60/20/20 superwash Merino wool/Alpaca/nylon.

These were kettle-dyed using consecutive washes of chartreuse, maroon, purple, brown and green. There are a very small amount of brown, pink and green speckles. It’s a difficult colour to pin down - it’s predominantly purple but it’s green, red and brown, too... Note that this is a tonal/variegated colourway and each hank is slightly different.

This is a lovely, very soft (but tough) 4-ply yarn - plump and round with the usual alpaca halo and a few hairs. It's great for just about any fingering weight project and will result in lofty, warm winter accessories and garments. If you knit socks, tightening the gauge slightly will ensure iron-like wear.

While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
