MERINOH! SINGLES LACE: Approximately 115g/825 yards superwash merino wool. This is a singles laceweight yarn.
These were dyed using speckling only with a combination of light and dark brown, green, lime, purple and yellow dyes. They are all a little different - some with more speckling some with less. There is a lot of white in this batch. Though they share the same colours each is unique and each batch is unique - please alternate hanks if using more than one.
Simple and pretty - this is a lovely, singles yarn which will develop a slight halo but hold nice stitch definition and drape. While it is not the absolute softest singles base I have tried (though it’s still plenty soft!), I like that’s it’s slightly denser with a tighter twist than some, and I find it knits into a very pleasing fabric.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
